Santa Lucia delle Venezie
The wines are produced by CIDE, Mareno in Piave, a specialist producer of Pinot Grigio. With strict control over the vineyards and a dedicated winemaker looking after production in the winery, quality is good and very reliable, and service is at an extremely high level.
– Santa Lucia is a classic Italian brand, with elegant presentation.
– Saint Lucy, for whom it is named, was originally from Sicily, was denounced by her betrothed and martyred.
– Her remains were venerated in a church dedicated to her in Venice, which is why she comes to have an affinity with the North West of Italy.
– The winery where these wines are produced, CIDE, is located in that same region.
