Established in 2005, Picco d’Umbria is the commercial leader within the Cardeto Winery. Producing 2 million bottles a year and exporting to over 10 different markets Picco d’Umbria are leaders in their field. The company was created to make a difference whilst holding true to the Cardeto philosophy – producing and selling quality wines that exceed the tastes and expectations of their customers.

Picco d’Umbria is one of the most important wineries in central Italy. A co-operative of wine growers run like a private company, it has a new high tech winery, a market-focused outlook and a commercially competitive but highly qualitative approach.

The team of winemakers and agronomists are absolute experts in sourcing wines from all over Central and Southern Italy. With long term relationships with growers dotted about Sicily and the rustic hillsides of Puglia and Campania, they can lay their hands on beautiful parcels of some extraordinary wine, whether a large bulk supply of Sicilian Syrah or a few barrels of a top Primitivo.

Picco d’Umbria supplies a wide range of UK and international customers, is fully accredited, regularly audited and has the highest possible levels of service, Stockholding facilities are also extensive with a further recent expansion to their temperature controlled facility.
